It is idiots like him that perpetuate the idea that tourettes is hilarious and it means that you cuss a lot.

when i tic, i am legitimately hurting myself. i have sore spots on my skin that have been rubbed raw for years on end because I CAN’T FREAKING STOP.

that’s not funny ok?

having tourettes doesn’t mean screaming “FUCK. SHIT. HAHAHA FUCK SALT LOL” all the time. you don’t “wish” you had tourettes, because it’s humiliating and stressful and in my case, painful

and this goes for anyone else who makes jokes about TS, too.

IT’S NOT FUCKING FUNNY. 

Coprolalia is one part of a minority of the people with Tourette’s. I wish more people understood that (especially if you’re a doctor).

How can you grill a group of people whose sole uniting characteristic is that they don’t experience sexual attraction on what sexual attraction is, and how it’s any different than “normative” sexuality, and then be upset and/or feel vindicated in your hatred when they fail to explain this thing that they don’t experience to your satisfaction? That is beyond me. You are asking a colorblind person to explain the color wheel and complimentary hues. You are asking a person who has never left Minnesota to describe swimming in the ocean. When they mess up it doesn’t mean their colorblindness or Minnesota residency doesn’t exist, it means that they didn’t do a great job explaining something outside of their experience. WHAT A SURPRISE.
